Alhumdulillah, our third term holiday activity for the under 12 year olds was held at the Darul Ihsan offices in Seacowlake. The activity was directed as encouraging our youngsters to become productive and proactive individuals. Keeping this in mind, YOU created a basic Handyman activity that concluded with the building of a basic motorized car which turned out to be the highlight of the program.      

‘Youth of the Ummah’ (YOU) - the youth wing of Darul Ihsan Centre – in conjunction with its sister wing, Daughters of the Ummah (DOU) facilitated a successful webinar for Grade 12 learners on exam preparation skills.

Youth of the Ummah (YOU), the youth development initiative of Darul Ihsan Centre held a 'Dads & Lads' overnight camp at Sunset Ridge Farm, in Camperdown on Saturday & Sunday 5 & 6 July 2024.

Youth of the Ummah, the Darul Ihsan youth initiative, hosted a “Live Qurbani Demo” on 25 May 2024. The demo was hosted at the centre's head quarters in Sea Cow Lake, Durban.

On Thursday, 25 April 2024, Youth of the Ummah (YOU) and Guideline Counselling, both projects of the Darul Ihsan Humanitarian Centre hosted a learner awareness event at the Orient Islamic School.

The programme has become a calendar event, being held annually in Ramadan for the past decade. An added feature introduced this year was the option for the youth to stay over the night to experience the atmosphere of Itikaf in the company of Ulama.
